The brand is called LumaGlo and its first product, Crossbelt, is a wearable LED belt aimed at walkers, runners, cyclists and anyone else who wants to be seen when the sun goes down. Crossbelt will sell for $49.95 online, on Amazon, and at two major retailers. The product has been in development since 2012 when its founders started working on an LED accent lighting product. KNOMO, the U.K.-based supplier of bags and power accessories geared to what the company terms as the “digital nomad” customer, has established a foothold in department stores like Macy’s, Nordstrom, and Dillard’s, but also vigorously pursuing the travel accessories distribution channel this year.
